Description

We jointly own some property with two other families. There is a house there and we have a fairly small room in that house where the six of us sleep. To help conserve floor space I built loft beds for the kids. These photos show three of the four loft beds that I built.

They are mostly constructed of 2x4s and 2x6s. The railings are made of some smaller lumber and the decking is made from 1×6 tongue and groove. The two darker beds are stained with Minwax – Early American and the lighter bed has no stain. They all have several coats of Minwax Polyurethane – Clear Satin.
